3. Components Layer
This layer goes beyond the classic C4 approach and represents the platform System Model in a more abstract fashion, since here it is not a representation of a certain system, but rather an abstract description of any potential system of platform users.

Elements Definition
Domain
A domain of an organization's business operations. The particular set of operations can be implemented by one or several technology systems which are a matter of representation and development based on T-matic platform
System
A technology system that implements or supports a set of business functions.
Component
A code, usually in a repository, that can be deployed as an artifact to become an application.
API
A way to interact with and interconnect system applications.
Artifact
A deployment-ready code that is used to create applications.
Application
Application is a running Component on a certain set of Resources.
Resource
An element required for a runtime of an application or a resource.
Location
A reference place where the platform crawls software catalog elements.
Template
Represents parametrized action with system elements. For example deployment of Artifact as Application.
